3 New plugins for Moodle User

As many of you already know, Moodle is a learning platform designed to provide teachers, administrators and learners with a single robust, secure and integrated system to create personalized learning environments.

Once again, and with the goal of improving the acquisition of knowledge by making video an engaging, collaborative and sustainable commodity, while contributing to the world of data with relevant metrics, UbiCast is positioning itself as a leader in videolearning.

Our teams have developed 3 Moodle plugins for better integration and a more smooth execution for our users.

Let's see in detail these new developments:

  • Activities: This Moodle activity module allows users to add media or channels from their UbiCast MediaServer in their courses. They can also edit these media from Moodle without having to return to the MediaServer site.
  • Atto: This Atto button plug-in allows users to directly add media from their UbiCast MediaServer to their Moodle courses from the Atto text editor.
  • Blocks: Simple but effective, this plugin is used to add a block of UbiCast MediaServer in courses, so that new recordings are instantly available, without manual executions, like an RSS feed.

As you will have understood, the time is more than ever to digitalise teaching and e-learning is the result. By taking up the very good article of the Digital Learning Academy, we clearly see that the training of tomorrow will be: granularized, mobile and accessible, social and collaborative, playful, digital, human and animated by video and other enriched content.
