UbiCast & Barco are exhibiting together at EDUCAUSE Annual Conference (USA)

UbiCast, in collaboration with Barco, will unveil its automated lecture capture and Rich Media technologies to North American audiences at the EDUCAUSE Annual Conference Oct. 27-30 in Indianapolis, Ind (US). This technological partnership provides unique features to make learning more social, accessible and flexible while providing autonomy and collaborative tools to teachers and students alike.

UbiCast exhibiting at EDUCAUSE together with Barco is a strong sign of both companies’ intentions to introduce their complementary solutions to the most advanced EdTech market,” said UbiCast CEO Tanguy Yu. “The honor of being selected by a market leader such as Barco is a testament to the quality of the technology we bring to the table and that we have something unique and worth sharing with the world.”

While UbiCast’s Rich Media technologies bring a comprehensive, highly interactive and social experience to lecture capture and flipped classrooms, Barco enhances in-room collaboration by allowing more students to share their own material from their personal devices that are networked to the classroom displays. With this technology multiple classrooms can now be virtually connected from anywhere in the world through a simple Internet connection, bringing real collaboration and interactivity to live, blended or distance learning.

The cooperation with UbiCast gives Barco the capability to complement Barco’s solutions for the educational market with lecture capturing and fully automated recording,” said Barco VP of Education Ronny Dewaele. “The solution allows a user to capture all the interactivity and collaboration in the class and to bring new learning methods to the digital age.”
